Hi, I'm new here.
I've read some of your posts about Galore Park and I checked out their website. The Junior History 1 and SYRWTLS Book 1 look promising for my asynchronous dd. Before I order, I have some questions. We're creationists but use secular materials if they're excellent and aren't relentlessly evolutionary. (I know that's subjective)
How much evolutionary content is in these two?
Also, how much does SYRWTLS book 1 cover in animal classification/taxonomy. The science books we looked at so far are light on this, esp. invertebrates which is dd's favorite subject.
Are they both full year courses?
If I'm using them with a younger kid who's ahead in these subjects due to her intense interest do you see any subject matter that might be inappropriate. (I already read the thread about the reproduction illustration in book2.)
Finally, would you consider them thorough compared to American standards? They certainly look engaging.
Waiting for your wisdom.....:lurk5:
