As a followup to Rebecca's post below about FLL3...

Would FLL3 be a better fit for an active boy? Or, is it similar to R&S in tone and expectations? My son struggles with words and has been a very slow reader. We are slowly working through FLL. Looking ahead, I worry that R&S will be too difficult for him.
A little background. I've used FLL then switched to R&S for my older daughters. R&S has been wonderful for them. (We do most of it orally and using a dry erase board. Sometimes they work on notebook paper. We always use the workbook activities when available.) They know their grammar and consider it their favorite subject! :)
