Are these good prices for grass fed, hormone free beef?

Short Ribs - $2.50/lb.
Stew Beef - $3.50/lb.

Steaks:
Chuck Eye Steak - $3.75/lb.
Shank Steak - $2.50/lb.
Sirloin Steak - $6.00/lb.
Flat Iron Steak - $3.50/lb.

Roasts:
Bottom Round - $3.50/lb.
Rump Roast - $3.50/lb.

Ground Beef & Stew Beef are 1 lb. packages.
Steaks run from 1/2 - 3/4 lb. per package (1" thick)
Roasts run 3-4 lbs. per package.
All meats will be delivered frozen for Sept. 15.

Ummm... Those are good prices for CONVENTIONAL beef!!!

It seems pretty inexpensive compared to what I've seen, but then, they are not completely grass fed.

I'm paying almost double that for the same grass-fed, no antibiotic, no hormone beef products. Get it while you can!

Those are fabulous prices! I pay twice that (or even a little more than twice that) for organically raised beef.

We went in on an organic, grass fed beef coop and paid $4.99 lb. accross the board, no matter the cut. Everything from ground beef to sirloin. I thought it was a pretty good price, and yours looks even better. I'd go for it.

The prices are good (though you could quite possibly do better if you could buy a side or quarter at a time), but, as someone else pointed out, it's not for grassfed beef. ALL cows are raised on pasture when they're young, and then most are "finished" with grain on feedlots. So I'd ask and see what you're really getting...it may be that the cows always have access to pasture but they supplement some with grain. I just peeked at their website, though, and it sounds like they're fed grain pretty much exclusively for "at least 120 days." So it sounds to me like the main difference from conventional beef is going to be the lack of hormones and antibiotics (both good things!), but you won't get the nutritional benefits of grassfed beef or the more natural life for the cow of being allowed to graze its whole life.
