I bought it for $1! I wouldn't have even seen it, but I saw a fellow homeschooler at the library who'd just found the Teaching Company's Algebra 1 course. So the VCR has to keep on working...

Wow. I just bought a set for $25 and thought I'd got a steal. Probably still do since it isn't a library discard.

FYI, VCRs can be purchased incredibly cheaply these days. We replaced ours about a year ago, we wanted to be able to record the occasional TV show and to watch the movies we still own on video -- much cheaper than a DVR especially for the amount of use we'd get out of the recording portion.

You probably do--this is a donation rather than a discard, but there's no guarantee that the videos are all in tact.

I bought this last month for $7.50 at a homeschool sale. (I thought I got a steal, but yours is better!) My daughter just finished watching it today and was very impressed. This was our first teaching company lecture series, but from what I've seen, it won't be our last.
