Is the alarm really loud? I'm trying to decide whether to buy the one that I can record my own message. However, it won't allow me to use the vibration feature along with the personal message feature.

Sigh...

Thanks!

We used the Potty Pager with my dd. It didn't have an alarm but made a buzzing noise with the vibration. Our bedroom was two rooms away from my dd and the buzzing noise woke me up, but not her brother. The vibration woke her up. You are going to need to get up with them anyway to help them change. You need to put the alarm on a new pair of underware because sometimes they go twice in a night.

It worked great with my dd. She was dry in 20 days. It didn't work with my ds.

A little tip is that your child can wear a pull up over their underware and alarm you don't have to change sheets in the middle of the night while they are learning.

We used the Potty Pager, too, with great success. I had a toddler then and I didn't want an alarm that would wake everyone else up. The buzzing of the Potty Page was enough to awaken me and my dd but not the rest of the family. I highly recommend it. I also ordered a pad that goes over the sheets and is tucked in the sides of the bed. After any accidents, you just pull that off and the clean sheets are underneath.

I don't remember what kind we got, but the vibration was a definite BAD THING--it scared my kid to death. The noise he could deal with. The screaming in terror after the vibration, I could not!! (weak smile)

Thanks, everyone! I'll do a bit more research on which on to buy.

In fact, it was so loud that it woke everyone else in the family - all seven of us. It did not, however, wake the sound sleeper for whom it was meant to help. LOL.

Thanks, Ria! That is the exact senario I am anticipating. My DD is a HEAVY sleeper.
