I'm curious about the usefulness? Implementation?
I don't see anything life changing in the sample provided but the habit of cleanliness isn't an area we'd really need to address outside of what we're doing.

Hoping someone has this and either uses it or has read it!

I have the book but I haven't had a chance to read it yet. I don't have a lot of time right now but if you have any more specific questions I could look up something for you.

Hi Lisa!

It's been a while. Nothing urgent, just want to know if it is actually useful in implementing CM's habits or just an inspiration/encouragement type book like the sample at Simply Charlotte shows.

you can sign up for newletters from ther site. They had some excerpts from this book awhile back in their newsletter--maybe there's an archive?

but I have not implemented it. I suggest you buy it and work out all the kinks and schedule it out on your website :-) I only buy curriculum and books, I do not actually use them (Just kidding ;-) although when I look at my bookshelves I do feel that way!

How about YOU buy me a copy (hardcopy) and then I'll schedule it out? Lol. Too funny.

Habits Revisited from Queen Homeschool, I'm still waiting on the library (like always) to get the original books through interlibrary loan. I was terrified to type all that out! Lol. I guess it's just the Lord.

Thank you :o

I just received it a few weeks ago, so far I really like it- it is really mostly quotes from CM's writings, but she lays it all out arranged with headings, questions and a short application story at the beginning of each chapter. I think having all the quotes laid out logically with headings really helps. She also has a very nice, thorough checklist/chart at the back for going through the different habits with your kids. I am happy with my purchase, I've been sick and overwhelmed so I am slow to start implementing this, but I have been thinking hard on how I am going to use this in our home.

I'm waiting for books from the library and weighing everything, evaluating WHY we do everything and HOW. The habits are essential and I know enough to know that that they would be worth implementing in our house, esp. with dd7! Thank you Jen for the information about the book, it's a help!
