I played with the blog last night

For a couple of hours. I went all the way around the blog ring, twice. I borrowed widgets and such from a lot of the blogs in the ring, updated/deleted some stuff and re-arranged a few things.

I'm thinking now it looks a bit busy/cluttered. I'll work on it some more this evening, but in the mean time can you guys give it a peek and tell me what you think? What else should I take off? What should I add? What does it need?

I think it looks very nice. :)

I was kind of curious about the text about spelling in the far left column. It seemed more like it was a post than it was something you might want in a column. YMMV.

I love the colors and I'm jealous that you make a blog look so cool. :)

The spelling and math info is there for my mom. I'm leaving it in the same place, easily found, so... well... you know... grandmothers.

I think it looks great too! I love all of the info you have on your sidebars. The only thing I noticed was that your About Me section is kind of buried down on the right side....but if your blog is mainly for family and people who already know who you are then that doesn't matter much. I like your idea of having your curriculum on a sidebar....I may use that on my own blog!

I used one of their templates, downloaded it to my desktop then uploaded it to the blog. It took me all day to figure out how to get it down loaded, but once I did the thing was ready in a matter of minutes.

Could you give me a quick run-down about how to join the web-ring? Great job on the blog:001_smile:! I've been working on mine too and it's becoming a bit addictive. 3 columns is my next-up challenge.
