Hi fellow mothers of daughters! My girls love AG dolls. Right now, Anna has Felicity and Elizabeth. She has most of the outfits for each doll. She wants Josephina for Christmas. Emma has Samantha and is getting Nellie for Christmas. For each of the dolls they already have, they have a chest to keep the doll in on one side and the clothes and accessories on the other side, something like this. (http://www.amazon.com/Trunk-Wardrobe-American-Dolls-Babies/dp/B001CJ4AYA/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_k2a_1_txt?pf_rd_p=304485601&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-2&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B000FNT08K&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=0M9ZEW8N36V9BWFD2MXH) But we are seriously running out of room for all those dolls trunks. They can keep their dolls up on their shelves when they aren't playing with them, but we really need to find something to store all the dresses and things in to keep them nice and clean. Does anyone have any ideas? I don't want to spend a ton of money, but it needs to be something that closes and will keep everything looking good. The little outfits each have their own hanger so that is nice.
TIA for any help!! :D

My girls have Molly and Kit and the clothes share a big bin that slides under the bed. The dolls rest when not in use in a doll bunk bed.

My oldest has Kaya, her horse Stepshigh, and Nikki, which live on top of the bookshelf in her room (away from little sister's fingers). Some clothes and all accessories, including Nikki's dog) are in a woven bin on the bookshelf. DD also has the AG hanging organizer which hangs in her closet, and she hangs the 'most beautiful' outfits there.
I could see how the trunks would take up a lot of room - but they are pretty!

We have under-bed boxes, too. Each of my girls has two dolls and then we have horses (the Target variety - 3 of them), and lots of outfits and accessories. The bed boxes are nice - they have bunk beds, and the boxes have rollers so they slide in and out quite easily. We also have doll wardrobes, which take up too much room, and they're not the most practical things, but they do like to hang up the "beautiful dresses." :)

My girls each have a bottom dresser drawer that is lined with nice heavy paper.

We have all of our AG clothes in Rubbermaid totes. When the dolls aren't being played with, their either resting on beds or standing up against the walls in the girls rooms. lol. I might have to get the hanging closet organizer though. Hmmmm...

Our girls use doll stands (you can get them at Hobby Lobby for $2, instead of $16 from AG). Clothes are in the bottom of a doll bunk bed. I swear we have more dolls than children. (Are they capable of reproduction and I'm not aware?) We LOVE American Girl. The store is delightful.
