Think I'm turning into one of those maniacal Texas moms portrayed on the Monday night movie-of-the-week. My kids are pushing me to my limit. They're being rambunctious, not listening, not being productive, fighting little terrors today. :cursing::cursing:Not sure if I want to indulge in chocolate or a glass of wine.
Anyone have a pick me up, happy story to share, or to commiserate? (sucking my thumb and rocking anxiously...)

Have both (unless it would give you a migraine) and repeat several times while rocking back and forth, "Tomorrow is another day" ala Scarlett O'Hara.:grouphug:

I think you need both chocolate and wine. Why take chances?
We've had a horrible start to our school year. It's taken us 2 weeks to do one week's worth of work, due to dd's hive outbreak and subsequent doctor's appointments, and her being so sleepy from the meds.
Just think, tomorrow is another day. :D

Any chance that things won't fall apart if you let them outside for the rest of the day? Not as a reward, but for you to get your sanity back and regroup. Tomorrow is another day.

I had car pool, so the drink was a Diet Dr. Pepper. Funny how it tastes a bit chocolaty and helped my mood. And Scarlett's motto is worthy of repeating in my little corner,"Tomorrow is another day." And of course, that which doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Not sure which will happen, but it's all good?!

Oh no, I hope DD is feeling better. Hives are just miserable. Nothing like getting behind the first week of school. Can you just consider them sick days and be done with it?
ROFL I like the chocolate and wine. Why take chances? :)
Thanks for the moral support.

My favorite quote this week is not "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger" it is "Those that you don't kill will eventually make you stronger." :D
chocolate and wine are fine all the time.

I think most of the day was outside. Now I remember WHY our schedule is so tight and rigorous. They're nuts with any unscheduled time they consider a break or recess. UGH Tomorrow is another day. And might just be payback time for the little cherubs!

I vote for both also. I wish I had something uplifting to say, but we have been going through major attitude stuff over here too. Plus I have PMS on top of it! If I were you I'd plead a headache and lock myself in my room with the wine, chocolate, and the remote. Hey, that's a great idea!:iagree:

ROFLMBO I think that I will use that quote today. btw, another fun little saying: "If you can't remember who said it, it's an original quote." ;)
You're on a roll today. Tried to rep you, but said I have to spread the love! (or something like that)

Don't you love pre-teen hormones? Sheesh, they cry and change moods quicker than a toddler. Maybe we could mix the popcorn, chocolate and rum together. Fun drink!
Hope your day gets better. Or go to bed soon! (That's my vote :))
