Allright everyone, I believe I'm stumped.

In the sentence, "They had come to blows," what exactly is "to blows?" An infinitive verb, or a prepositional phrase?

Looking forward to putting the WTM Think Tank to work!

I would call it a prepositional phrase with blows being the object of the preposition to.

Of course grammar isn't my strong point so hopefully some others will chime in as well.

That's what I've been leaning towards. Thanks so much!
