This school year we are running into problems that have plagued us in the past but I can no longer ignore this problem. My kids tend to work on one subject for HOURS. Math in particularly, and before I know it is 11am and they've worked on two subjects.

I need control. Control over how long they are working on various subjects. or at least some knowledge of what time it is. Simple, aye.

A clock? We lack one in our school room since my oldest cannot stand a ticking clock, or even an electric clock that makes a buzz, and all of ours seem to buzz. (he has APD issues). We've tried several.

I would love to find a 'school clock' one that beeps loudly every hour, or every 20 minutes if that's what I set it for. But it has to be quiet, totally quiet the rest of the time. Any such creatures out there?

Or other suggestions --- is there a www site that would provide this feature?

thanks,
carole

You can set alarms to go off on Microsoft Outlook (part of Microsoft Office).

Not a clock exactly, but we use this:

Time Tracker (http://www.amazon.com/Learning-Resources-LER6900-Time-Tracker/dp/B0007DHU0S/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=toys-and-games&qid=1220454633&sr=8-1)
