........Big evil grin........but you all know that.

Just popping in to see if everyone had a wonderful Labor day, ate BBQ, watched small town parades?

I have no excuse not to begin in earnest tomorrow. But guess what? Next week I get to be mother to six extra children for a week. So we'll hit it hard and see what happens.

Happy holiday weekend to you all! Off to watch "Heroes" until my eyes cross.

No bar-b-que here. My husband has been working today, and the boys and I have been schooling and working and posting (that's work, right?).

And keeping an eye on Gustav. Hoping that my vigilance can make a difference.

Happy Labor Day to you Remudamom! We had smoked brisket for dinner and spent all day getting the yard ready for Gustav's rain.

We are supposed to receive a minimum of 10 - 12 inches with some areas getting 20 and this is for TEXAS!!:001_huh:

We grilled brats and had smashed califlour. *sigh* HOWEVER, since July 1st, I've lost 18 lbs.....so the low carb thing seems to be working! Have fun next week....I've heard a few things about those kids.....:lol: Just teasing, I'm trying to decide who will have more fun....you, your kids, or the 6 visitors.......;)

I am on my period. We went to the in-laws where DH promised to help more b/c last time we went I held a toddler in my arms the whole time. Not fun, nor comfortable. Well, he took him so that I could play one board game without the baby. How many did DH play without the baby? Well, he played 2 when I was there with baby pulling on me or on my lap, and about 5 while I dealt with baby elsewhere. It was a great time. :001_huh:

The thug is helping me on the Atkins now, she was losing too much and her dad told her enough was enough, so now she's picking on me.

Dinner tonight was no fun, there were potatoes and I had to ignore them.

It really does get better after the first couple days......the cravings go away. Mostly.....:glare:

YES, now that Todd is among the walking again and it is cooling off....we are so there. Would later in Sept work?
