My dd is doing Pre-Algebra this year, but still moves slowly. I think Right Start would be right up her alley, but am confused about the RS sequence. They work on basic arithmetic (Level A-E) then right into Geometry. Is this correct? I'm just wondering where Algebra comes in?

Their geometry is considered middle school.

They do not have an algebra program, but suggest Videotext instead.

All the levels have a good helping of Geometry in them, but yes they do basic math concepts then go to Geometry first. The argument being it is more concrete, therefore easier than Algebra. Then they suggest going to Algebra.

When you say she stll moves slowly, what is it she's struggling with? Basic math computation? Fractions? I think many kids go into junior high not really understanding fractions. If that's her issue, I would get her the RS Fractions game deck ($8?), which comes with instructions for some of the most popular fractions games, and the hardwod fractions puzzle (~$20). If she needs to work on computation concepts, then I would get RS Transitions and put her through that until you either complete it and return to your current text or realize what she needs next.

Also you should look at the BJU math. It is VERY similar to RS conceptually and goes up to higher levels (since it sounds like the RS Geometry isn't what you need). If you want say a 5th or 6th grade book to use those RS manipulatives with to rebuild her understanding of fractions and maybe help her do better with that pre-algebra, then that's what I suggest. BJU with the RS manipulatives is a GREAT combination where RS doesn't have the levels you need. They're SO close in their conceptual presentation and BJU is VERY good.

The geometry is not high school level geometry. It's meant to be a component of a yet-to-be-completed pre-algebra sequence.
