Just curious, how much have gas prices dropped where you are?

It was $3.99 here at the peak, now $3.46 (at least 3 stations, for the past 2-3 days). I'm still seeing some wild variation, though. A couple weeks ago, I saw $3.59 - $3.91 on the same day. Today, I've seen $3.46 - $3.69.

In CA it hit $5.00 a gallon in some parts. I think in my city the highest I saw was $4.79. Now it's down to $3.89. So yeah, it's dropped a lot.

My dh jokes that the higher prices were all just a ploy to fool us into thinking that anything under $4.00 a gallon was a great deal. :tongue_smilie:

Gas prices are not dropping here. It's been sitting between $4.17 and $4.40 for regular. The pundits say it takes longer for our wholesale prices to drop than it takes on the mainland.

We hit a peak of $3.99, and just today it was $3.55 -- but when I went shopping Monday it was $3.40 in that little town! I would have felt like I hit the jackpot, but it took me two gallons of gas to get there -- LOL!

The peak was 4.50ish. The cheapest I have seen it around here lately is $3.55.

Was down to $3.13, after the price went up $6 a barrel last week it has risen to $3.19 a gallon. :hurray::001_huh:

Here in WA where we live, the highest I saw it was $4.46 now it is $3.76 at Costco.

It has only dropped about 20 cents a gallon here. We went down river it it had dropped 50 cents a gallon. We gogt gas down there.

Gas at the corner store today here was $3.51. It had gone up to 3.99 there. It still seems high to me. I really want it under $2 but I doubt that will ever happen again.

Haven't seen a huge drop at all. It was 3:85 today at Costco.
Michigan usually has some of the highest prices tho. National average is always lower than what we are paying.

Probably because of the hurricane. I probably should have filled up yesterday. I haven't been out today, so I don't know whether it's jumped up or not.
