I have a 14 week old chicken that seems to have some pasting up problems. I thought this was a problem w/only new chicks. Am I missing something or can this happen at any age?

In a bird that age, you're probably looking at different causes. Coccidosis is pretty common and contagious, so you will want to watch your flock carefully. More often, in my experience, it's just a case of the runs (sorry) like any critter might suffer from. I'd recommend this:

Remove her from the flock into a separate housing situation (dog crate will work or a big cardboard box). Feed her fresh, tender greens like chopped kale, wild harvesting things like dandelion or plantain weed, and if she'll eat it, some good plain (never sweetened!) yogurt with live cultures. Take her off of her regular feed for about a day and just offer these other foods, plus water, of course. If you have some, add a vitamin/electrolyte solution to her drinking water. Give her a week or so apart and with special diet and see if that helps.

Sorry, gotta run. Glad to answer more ?s later if needed. Good luck!
