How would you cover Renaissane, Early Modern, Modern? Is there something similar out there? Or something else that makes sense? Thanks.

There is also a Famous Men of the Renaissance and Reformation. I find that I rarely hear of people using it, so I wonder if it is not as good?

There is nothing I know of for early modern/modern. Was just considering coming up with my own.

This is what I am planning to use next year so I hope that it is good. I just recently read on the Greanleaf site that the author would like to continue the series.

I don't know what this is, or by whom it is written, but I was just perusing Great Books Academy's site and found this:

"Famous Men of Modern Times"

It is presumably the book of that title by the author of FMoMA. It's available online for free here (http://www.mainlesson.com/display.php?author=haaren&book=modern&story=_contents) at mainlesson.com.

Famous Men of the Renaissance and Reformation. I didn't find it quite as interesting as the other three, but I still felt it was an excellent spine for that period.

After that we switched to TruthQuest American History for Young Students. If you're just looking for spines, you might consider Guerber's The Story of the Thirteen Colonies and The Great Republic. Those will get you through the end of the 19th century. I don't have any suggestions for the 20th century.
