Making fill in the blank PDF files?

What software would I need to be able to do this? I'd like to be able to make PDF files and just fill in the areas, print and have a save option. I know it can be done, I just don't know what is needed software wise. I have a Mac.

Adobe Acrobat Professional will let you do that. Not sure if there's a less expensive option. You might check the apple.com site under downloads and search using "pdf" or "pdf fillable".
