R&S English 2 not working can I use FLL 1/2

We have given this the old college try and ds/8 and I are in tears each day. He has ADHD and maybe some other sensory issues, which I don't know if those are making it harder for him to use R&S or not, but anyway we need to use something else for Language Arts/English.

Right now here is what we are doing with him:

Horizons Math 3
RFHW Transitions
Spelling Workout C
MCP Phonics C
Training Hearts Teaching Minds
Listening in to db's SL Core 3 History
Vocabulary Cartoons
Latin for Children "A"
ETC books 4 & 5 (only because he loves these and begs to do them)
SL Core 3 Science (we haven't started this yet)

I was thinking of doing FLL 1/2 with him and maybe speeding it up a bit. I already have it and am doing it with ds/6. Should I consider something else or just drop doing Language arts for now? I don't know what to do, I have already changed so much this year plus put one ds/14 back into school. :confused:

It seems to me that FLL would work well for ADHD, since the lessons are so short and you are talking to him the whole time. I would try it with him (probably start with 2nd grade rather than 1st). If he seems to be doing well with the format, but if it is too much like review you might want to look into FLL3.
