Brightened my day

So I had posted last week about the horrible week it was, last night certainly got much better. Actually it goes back nearly a month. I have been meeting every Tuesday with my neighbor and 2 elders from her LDS church to discuss the bible etc. ANyway, Saturday afternoon the 2 elders stopped by asking if I had chores they could do, I informed them of course I do, jsut let me make a list first lol THen Last night they called me to see if I had started cooking dinner, when I said no they came by with fried chicken, scalloped potatoes, and rhubarb cake. It was delicious and the company great too. I don't know if it is standard practice of the LDS church to woo someone into their church by cooking and doing chores but I'll take the help.


ANyone else have people doing random acts of kindness for them lately that just brightened their day?

I don't know if that's typical of LDS members when "wooing" prospective members, but it was typical of my former LDS neighbors. They were always doing something for members of their church. And, when they needed someone for them, their church members were always there. I was always very impressed by them.
