What do the Buddy and Ignore functions do? Does "Ignoring" someone mean you can't see them? Or that they don't show up on your searches? Or what?

And do you get notifiers when your Buds post? Do you get a note when somebody Buddies up to you? What happens?

Okay, first the ignore button....when you set someone to ignore you will not see their posts unless you choose to open them. Where their post is in a thread, you will have a box that says This message is hidden because Kelli in TN is on your ignore list. . That is all you will see.

If you put someone on your buddy list then you set your PM to only accept private messages from people on your buddy list, then nobody else can PM you. This can be useful if someone sends you ugly PM's. Whoa, that sort of looks like someone is sending PMS. Now that would be BAD!! Like I can't generate my own PMS? Puleeze.

Which reminds me, if I like you and you have tried to PM me, please let me know. I am always adding to my buddy list, but I might have missed you!
