If you are using this book with your Latin studies this year & you are not already a member, I would highly recommend that you join the Oerberg e-mail list at http://nxport.com/mailman/listinfo/oerberg. The author, Jeanne Marie Neumann, just posted a revised corrigenda.

Thanks, Beth. :)

I'm on the list -- but I have no idea what they are talking about. We're diving in head first w/ LL next month, so I'll probably understand more as time goes on.

Beth, if you don't mind, please post back here regarding how things are going w/LL once you get up and running. :001_smile:

Lisa,
Oh, you'll hear about it (you know me!) :)

We started Lingua Latina this week. My daughter really likes it and loves doing the exercitia on the computer and hearing the ding! for the correct answer. I love this program and used it several years ago and kept it.

Do you need to buy the book version of the exercitia or will the computer program be enough? I own the student book of Lingua Latina (the first one).

Thanks,

Jan,
It looks like everything you need is on the cd-rom. The exercitia is self-correcting.

Thanks,

My dd started the student book today. So far she likes it, but I don't have any answer keys to it. I might have one, but its lost in my big, old house!! I will look into the cd. If I can sell some curriculum, then maybe I'll have money for it.

Thanks,
Jan

I got my cd-rom from Amazon for $30 for a Mac. It has Part I: Familia Romana and Part II: Roma Aeterna with Indices, Grammatica Latina, Exercitia Latina I, Exercitia Latina II, and Colloquia Personarum. The entire text is read in Latin by the author, which was a pleasant surprise for me. I think for a PC the 2 parts are sold on separate disks. If you want to get everything make sure you order the cd-rom not just the audio cd, which has only ch. 1-10 recorded.
