Wow! Finally no longer getting "server busy" messages.

I had to wait until 10:45pm, Pacific Time. I guess I have to wait until the rest of the country goes to sleep in order to post (and even read) the messages. I hope this gets better once the novelty wears off. If not, will we have to spring for a new server to handle the volume? I think that's what Sonlight had to do. That's progress. It is lots of fun, though, isn't it?

I kept getting a "busy", too. The rest of the country is in bed, but I should be too..I just couldn't resist peeking in to see if it was busy or not...

At 630 until after 700 am Eastern time I was getting busy server messages. The couple of times I actually reached the main page there were fewer than 10 people viewing. Definitely having server issues. I can't imagine it being able to handle a "rush hour" load.

This board is a much needed improvement but ther eare obvious growing pains. I always wanted to post more here and I swore if we ever updated the format I'd be more active, I didn't like the old one (but I know that's what the regulars were use to- obviously I was ... er ... irregular).

They're going to need more bandwidth... that means coughing up more money. With the amount of traffic a site like this gets, they could sell advertising space here to pay for it though. I'm real happy for the upgrade.

I have had that happen to me twice just recently.... I wait a minute and then try again.... it hasnt been to bad... but its hard when I have something to share and feel the thought slipping my mind! lol

I wasn't able to complete my registration until this afternoon. I had a hard time posting this message. I know that we need to just be patient. It is a good thing that my dh has been watching the Packer game tonight.:)
