Want to make homemade lemonade but got rid of juicer long ago. Do not have a pestle. Do any of you make good lemonade without either of those gadgets? I was thinking of just warming lemons in microwave and squeezing juice out by hand.

I role my lemons and squish before they are cut in half, then I squeeze and use a fork to do the work ;) No fancy appliances or do dads needed :D

I just use a hand-juicer, I don't use anything mechanical. If you don't have a hand juicer then rolling them on the counter to loosen them up then using a fork to juice them works pretty well.

This is the recipe I usually use:

Another vote for the fork.
If the lemons aren't already fairly soft I'll punch them with a fork a few times then stick them in the microwave for maybe 15 seconds. Then I roll them around on the counter using the palm of my hand. Next, cut them in half and use the tines of the fork to help squeeze out the juice.

A juicer is a nice gadget, but I don't usually feel like rummaging around in the drawer looking for it, so I just go with the fork.
