I recently started working at Kohl's for a little extra money and to get out of the house for a bit. I am only working 10-15hrs a week on the night shift.
Well, today I was offered part time work at a local quilt shop. Quilting is something I really love and I am very excited about this opportunity. My dh and I talked about it and we figured I could try doing both for a while and see how it goes. The big thing is the quilt shop will be during the day (1-2 days a week) so I really have to start planning.
I need to have weekly assignments/schedules for the dc so that we make sure things are getting done and we don't fall behind. We have pretty much always taken the "do the next thing" approach to homeschooling, but I don't think that will work when I am not there to keep track and facilitate things.
For someone who hasn't done weekly assignments, what would be the best/easiest/no-nonsense way to create schedules? I don't want anything fancy and I probably would be more apt to print forms and fill them out by hand as opposed to using the computer or some type of software. Any easy to use forms you can recommend?
Thanks! :)
