I think my creativity has left and I need to learn how to have fun again.

watch movies
play board games
go sledding or skating
work on projects around the house (okay, not fun, but necessary)

I'm supposed to have fun? Huh. LOL

I have no fun M-Th. It's school, care for the toddler I watch, more school, pick up the two kids I help with, dinner, clean up, flop on the chair and try to read. If it's Tuesday, I have to run to either 4H or Titus 2 ministry or Bible study. If it's Wednesday, dd's sewing class and church; Thursday is music class. By Thursday afternoon, I'm spent. Friday, I work at my pt office job, do laundry and any grocery shopping. Saturday, I zone out; Sunday, church and Monday, we do it all over. I do try to wiggle in some down time on the weekends, but since most of my friends are married and have family things to do, most often I'm on my own. I try to read or do a craft or something, but often I'm just bored.

I never get "done" with my duties! But every day we have quiet time from 2:00 - 3:00. My fun is to read a book (right now I'm really enjoying the Mary Russell series by Laurie R. King - about a woman apprentice of Sherlock Holmes!).

I have also started to sing again (I was a vocal major many many years ago).

Read, make rosaries (http://www.rosaryarmy.com/), and spend way too much time online. :o

Digital Scrapbooking. But, I like to read and hang out on the boards.

That's how I feel mostly! I do read my e-mails and sometimes pop over here, but I tend to spend WAY TOO much time here:eek: so I try to stay away more often than not:D, read a book, or play games with the kids.

I go back and forth between scrapbooking and cross-stitch. I really enjoy both, but there's never enough time. I've thought about getting out my flute and practicing again. I played all throughout high school and a little in college. My church has an orchestra, and my goal is to play in it one day.

I sometimes scrapbook with some other ladies...... Or we go out and eat (or drink, or both....) and yap, yap, yap, yap...... That's always creative because we always come up with lots of new ideas for more stuff to do.....

Hmmmm. I don't seem to be having much of that, lately. But, when I do, I play board games, cards, and read these boards. I have a very hum-drum life:o

I have waited my whole life to have him.....he reminds me that i still have a part of me that doesnt have anything to do with mom/teacher/wife responsibilities. It sounds silly but he is so good for me.:-) I am blessed to have a supportive dh that allows me to have him:D
