I'm preparing for a neurology co-op and I'd love to burn some of the savant and memory videos to a disk. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Karen

I don't know of any way to download youtube, but you can download videos here: http://www.stage6.com/

The latest version of RealPlayer allows you to download youtube videos. You can then burn them to CD or DVD.

When I installed the latest version, it had the option to display a tab on any downloadable content, and I clicked yes for that option. So it lets me know whenever content can be downloaded. I have downloaded several youtube videos this way. I haven't burned them to disk, but it should work the same way that it would for burning any other content.

There is also a Firefox/Netscape add-on called Downloadhelper that will let you do it. They download as .flv format but you can download free FLV players also.

I posted a tool on the old boards that allowed you to do this. I can't recall what it was called right now, I'll see if I can find it.

Here's one but I haven't used this one before: http://www.techcrunch.com/get-youtube-movie/
