Science is quite a struggle around here, and I'm wondering if something completely different might help.

There's Bill Nye the Science Guy. If it isn't too young, what about Magic School bus? These aren't curriculuums, but plugging in a DVD on a topic you are studying is fine.

I'm considering Sonlight's Discover & Do DVDs and supply kits for my young children.

Time4Learning has science lessons. It's a full year of science for children in 4th grade and above. There aren't enough lessons for it to be considered a full year for 3rd grade and under, but I've noticed a lot of the Language Arts Extensions are on science related topics, so you might could pull some of that in as well if you have a younger child.
