So, according to Videotext, we have fulfilled :
Pre-Algebra
Algebra I
Algebra II
Geometry
Trig.
Pre-Cal
What I want to know is---big breath----Do I choose Saxon Advanced Math and then their Calculus? The only thing I really must have in a program is how to use the TI-84 calculator. I know this is introduced way back in Algebra in most programs. If I were to back way up just for the calculator lesson part, which programs make good use of the calculator? Or even better, what Pre-Cal or Cal program uses the calculator well? VideoText doesn't cover ANY calculator use, but now that we have done without it, I really want to know how it works for my future engineer and the SAT's. I need some recommendations.
I have also heard from several people that they just love VideoText. Then I also hear that it really doesn't cover a concept in depth. I would love to know what math book would review the Algebras/Geom/Trigs. before I move onto Calculus. I'm thinking Saxon Advanced Math. Need advice here.
Sorry Ladies, I know this post is long winded and I have alot of questions spinnin through my noggin.
Thanks for the help,
Tammy
