rotating (physically) blog pics....help!

Hi, I own an imac and I have a couple pics that I want to put on my blog that are "portrait" style, meaning that I turned my camera sideways to take them. In Iphoto I can rotate them no problem, but when I upload to the blog they go back to landscape :o( . Ugh. I feel like this is probably a really "duh" kind of thing, but I can't seem to figure it out. Any takers? I'd appreciate it. Thanks

I don't know exactly why that happens but I remember it used to happen to me sometimes when I was on blogger too. It wasn't a problem when I first uploaded the pictures to Photobucket and then put them on the blog. I always had less problems overall when I hosted my pictures at Photobucket. HTH
