Need books on 17th and 18th C. British History.

My son is a 6th grader. He'd like to learn all about the British empire during that period. I'm also trying to find a book on the Am. Revolution from the British perspective. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Have you looked through the Horrible Histories titles? I believe they have some that correspond to that time period.

Amblesideonline.com does lots of British history in the earlier years. I'd check their booklist.
