College Transcripts

How do you go about starting a college transcript? Dd currently in 9th grade would like to apply to the University of Florida.

Also what's the difference between a Carnegie unit and a regular credit unit?

As for transcripts, you can go the HSLDA website and find links to serveral examples. You can also search the boards as this question comes up fairly often, in fact, pretty recently I believe.

If your dd is interested in UF, I would go to their site and research what is required specifically of homeschoolers. Here's a link to the site (which I see has changed a bit since I last looked):

Are you an alum? If so, the admissions office regularly holds informational sessions for alumni which are very, very helpful (and yet very, very discouraging because it's so darned hard to get in!).
