I have one out of the freezer for tomorrow night but I'd like to try something new! Any ideas?

Or you could coat it and pan fry it. Serve it with mashed potatoes.

If this is like cubed steak you can:

Cut into serving size pieces
Dredge in flour seasoned with salt/pepper/garlic/whatever

Put 1/2 sliced onion in the bottom of a crockpot. Top with 1/2 meat. Put the rest of the onion in, top with the rest of the meat.

Mix 1 can cream of mushroom soup with 1 packet onion soup mix and 1/2-1 cup water. Pour over the meat. Cook on low for 8 hours.

The meat will fall apart and the gravy is great over rice, potatoes, noodles, etc.

Any left overs make great stew or veg beef soup.

We have a ton of round steak when we butcher. I like to make pepper steak--there are a lot of recipes if you google it. I don't have time tonight to write it out.

Another way that my kids love--I cook it in the crockpot for 12 hours in enough water to make a thick gravy (add some salt). Just before eating, I thicken the gravy and then we serve it all over mashed potatoes.
