30-50 minutes.

On Mondays and Thursdays add 2 hours of Judo (an hour of light/medium and an hour of heavy), and on Fridays 1.5 hours of medium Judo.

Everyday 45+ in the AM and a walk 20+ after dinner. It's my life-line :D

I try to do 1 hour of yoga daily. I do a kettlebell workout 3 times a week and Judo 2 nights a week. I am looking into Ju-Jitsu, also.
I do random workouts with my dc and I try to walk regularly.
I average 6 days a week of exercising. I don't do it to lose weight, but to keep active and loose. I look at my parents and see how being inactive can affect a person.
I wish I lived by some mountains because one of my favorite things to do is hike in the mountains. Maybe some day, sigh.

Well, unless my bursts of activity during racing season count...I do not exercise.
If I am to count that, then, we're looking at once or twice a week, maybe 4 months out of the year :p
Though this year, new location, earlier start to the season...however...I'm pg. And I do not see BMX as a pg mom sport LOL

Seven days. It's a habit! I feel really funny when I don't.

In the last few months, I've discovered that my little toe hurts because I never got a problem foot totally "fixed" as a kid. My back hurts because I was in a car accident in 6th grade, and the car had no seatbelts--broke my jaw and hurt my spine--but didn't know about the back problem until we took the xrays this last week. My feet affect my knees and my hips, so I now have othoses in the shoes. I have high cholesterol, and low bone density........

Shall I go on? It is absolutely amazing how my life has changed in the last few months. Obviously turning 50 was bad for my health!!!!

Actually, the exercise is what I do because I want a better quality of life when I am 80 if I can. I want to live to rock my grandchildren.

Stretches, weights, tubing, PT, aerobics...for 60 minutes a day if I have the time.

Not as much as I should but I'm trying to make it a routine. I have been consistantly doing 2 days a week at the Y where I'm on the treadmill 20-30 minutes with 15 minutes of weights afterwards while my older 2 are at Homeschool PE.

I plan on steadily increasing until it's a real habit.

I drag myself to the gym three times a week. We use the gym for dd's weight training and cardiovascular workouts, so I tag along and feel really out of place exercising with the hard-core gym goers.

That's me too. Only I step onto my nordic trak for 20 min every morning. Then I have the dogs to walk, but if it is blustery cold or raining we don't go; at least I got my 20 min in. The dogs like to do a second walk after dinner too.

In 14 days a new Y is opening up close to us and I plan to add swimming, and perhaps spinning to my week.

I am generally running 3 days a week (used to be 4) these days. Dh's schedule this fall prevented me from running much and his schedule is going to be impossible this spring, too. However, the sun will be up early then, so I can get early a.m. runs in again. A couple of weeks ago I started back with weights and the recumbant bike at the gym a couple of mornings. I did vote just three, however.

I voted 4 times a week, but my goal is 5-6 times a week. I lift weights 3 times a week and walk, ride the exercise bike or work out on the gazelle 2-3 times a week. I like working out and I know I need to. Sometimes life intrudes and I miss a day.
God bless,
Vicki

I jog three miles a day, everyday (except when traveling overseas), and I have been doing it for almost 30 years. Amazing! I enjoy it and plan to continue for another 30 years... is there a "Believe it or Not" record here? Fun and healthy.

We walk as a family every night - at the track in the spring/summer. At the mall in the fall/winter. I used to exercise on my own beside this but fatigue and lack of time have derailed that - for now.

for me, if there is one thing I MUST improve in my life it is exercise. I don't think moving a laptop around is exercise is it???
I have managed to get my diet improved but now I must start exercising again. To you ladies who are exercising regularly and homeschooling, I am in awe of you :D
