Can anyone who has a convection oven help me, please?

I have one and I even used it to make brownies once I figure out how to turn it on last night. Now I really want to use it to see how a roasted chicken will come out, tonight. Any suggestions or hints? I sat next to it for the brownies last night.

Decrease the temperature by 25 degrees F and then check 5-10 minutes early.

Thank you. I didn't realize when I picked a new stove I would have to figure out an oven. And truly I didn't want to use the wall oven as it seemed silly to not use this convection one just because I can't!

My oven coverts conventional time/temp to convection. If you email me the weight of the bird and the temp you'd usually cook it at, I can program it in my oven and tell you what it says in terms of time/temp for convection.
