Is there a way to put a thread on "ignore?"

Are you subscribed to the thread? If so, you can change your subscription options to no longer receive notification.

Other than that, I just skip stuff. I feel no compulsion to open every thread or even read every thread title. Perhaps this is easier in linear mode, which is how I read the board.

Hi, Gail -- No, I'm not subscribed to them. I know how to unsubscribe.

I've been using "New Posts," rather than going to each forum. There's an icon to go to the first unread message in each thread, and I was hoping there might be something similar to "ignore" some of them, which would keep the list shorter.

It's not that I'm reading everything -- I just wanted to shorten the list. :)

I don't think there is any way to do that either. It would kinda make it easier to go through everything though!
