Which do you prefer chow or sotw II

for a 2nd 5th and 7th grader to do together. 7th grader will also have her own work at a higher reading level. But as a spine to keep them all together, which do you prefer?

CHOW would cover all world history in one year vs./ SOTW II only what, middle ages? So not easy to compare. I have used both and like both - but how much history do you aim to get through in the year?

We are using CHOW and I really like it. But I also know a lot of people who like SOTW.

I love them both! Sorry, I'm no help but I just can't imagine History studies without them. I'm already making plans to use them with my grandchildren and my oldest is 10.

For 2nd, 5th and 7th, I'd vote for SOTW 2.
