Audio books help please

I would love to be able to burn some audio books for an upcoming car trip. I tried yesterday to download one book and did manage to choose the proper format for saving the file so that the book played in my car cd player. But the chapters were all out of order. I just went and added a number to each file name thinking that would fix it but Windows Media Player is organzing the chapters by the actual chapter listing and I can't seem to access that anywhere I don't think to change it.

I'm sure this is not so complicated to fix but what am I missing?

An alternative to burning could be just checking out the originals from your library.

YOu could just import it into the itunes software. Itunes lets you order the selections around and then you can just burn it to a disc. You don't have to have an ipod to be able to use the itunes software.
