UPDATE: CAT scan shows no major trauma to the head. They think he's got a bad concussion. He's concious now, & the serious concern is his chest area. When the paramedics picked him up, his lips were white, but he was breathing. He's got a big bruise across his chest.
When we got the call, we were told that they didn't think he'd make it, but the friend relaying the info is...melodramatic & pg. I'm cautiously hopeful that *that* is not an issue now. Thanks for praying.

She's at the ER w/ her 3yo right now. About 30 min ago, he tried to climb a chest of drawers w/ a TV on top. He's unresponsive except for vomiting.
A couple of mos. ago, her 1yo was in the hospital for nearly a mo. w/ a near-fatal strain of strep followed by a virus so bad they had to call everyone back who'd been at the hosp that day.
Right before 1yo went into the hosp, her dh, military, came home on leave & flipped out about how fat she was, how messy the house was, & accused her of having an affair. His leave was only a week, but their conversations since then have not improved, & they're now on the verge of divorce.
She's also being laid off from the only job she's ever had. She's younger than me & has 3 dc 5 & under. This has *all* happened in under 3 mos.
