I am curious as to whats different with the new courses from the old? Do you feel there is enough grammar with the new courses to = a high school credit? I;d love to hear your thoughts. Thanks!

I'd love to know this, too. My kids have been using version 2, but it's weak in grammar so we've always had to supplement. Then they get so caught up in the supplements that Rosetta Stone goes by the wayside. I'm wondering if it's worth upgrading to the new version and if we'd have better results with it.

We're using the new version but have never used the old one so I can't compare. Also, since we just started, we're only in the third lesson of unit one so that's probably not far enough to give a real review.
I'd love to know WHAT a student should learn in a typical first year course because we've had three girls take foreign languages (two through traditional schools and one taking BYU distance courses) and I wasn't impressed by what our dds learned in their brick and mortar classes in year one.
So...what grammar would you like to see Rosetta Stone add?
