Do we file a new FAFSA each year?

When my husband was in college I thought we just recieved a form we sent back in and our FAFSA was renewed( it's been a while so maybe this isn't right?). Does my DD need to submit a new application each year?

Yes, this must be done each year. The earlier the better.

Yes you do but year 2 is a LOT easier than year 1! There was a lot that was able to be pre-filled from last year's form and that saved so much time!! You use the same PIN numbers from last year's form (if you still have them) or you can choose to get a new one. It only took me about 20 mins or so to complete.
