at 3 AM!!!!

My 3 yo has, since Daddy's been working out of town, gotten into the habit of waking at 3 am and getting into bed with me.

This week, she gets into bed and talks nonstop about HIPPOS for about a half an hour.

I am too. old. for. this. I. am. tired.

That is all.

So teaching her a song about Hippos would not be good idea then? ;)

How about if she sang about them in Latin?

I am sorry I had to smile about this.

Thankfully my dc do not talk in the middle of the night when they wake up. If they did I'm sure I'd be very unhappy about it. It sounds like your dd is very cute and loves you very much. You must be a great momma to last a half an hour. I'd cut mine off waaay before that. :tongue_smilie: But then again I would have missed the great memory too!

:grouphug: to you. Put your feet up and read a book about hippos today. ;)

She turns 4 in a month, and you know as the youngest of 4 girls, we have every doll, etc. known to mankind.

We're thinking about doing an all hippo birthday!!!!!

"Am I Beautiful" really is a wonderfully sweet little book for any little one -- but the hippo-obsessed particularly! :)

(You know, hippos and eggplants do share a certain resemblance don't they?)
