I have reached the point of burn out I was hoping would never come. I'm tired of working and I've no motivation to do school. I have to teach two science classes this afternoon and I'm not ready for either of them (I have to leave the house in less than 3 hours). The worst part is that I don't really care anymore. How sad is that? And, fwiw, I'm in the middle of pms.

Thanks for listening. Everyone in my house is tired of hearing it.

I hope you're able to get some time to regroup and find your direction. (((Sue))).

I tend to hit the wall in the middle of pms especially if I feel like there is no me time. I hope you do get some time to just breathe. Is there any "easy" thing you can do for your classes that won't stress you? Can you take a moment to drive thru and get hot chocolate on your way? I know I feel rather spoiled if I give myself the moment it takes to stop at Starbucks. Hope you feel better soon

Is there something you can do for you? Go eat at a favorite restaurant? Buy yourself flowers, or a special piece of chocolate? Take a long bath with candles and soft music? Have a good cry?

I'm sorry -- I know that feeling, and it's not a good one. I hope it helps for you to know that we're all pulling for you here -- understanding where you are. We're glad to listen.

I'm sorry you are going through that, I know how exhausting it can feel to keep going.

I have taken off days here and there for just these occassions. I think they should be built into the school year..........LOL!

Finding things my kids can do on their own for those days is key for me.......requiring less of me on those days I know we can do the more time intensive stuff when I'm feeling more motivated.

Watch a movie for science or history.......read a book for English......play board games for math.....you can make it easier for you while you regroup.

Hang in there and know that we all have those days.......weeks.......but if we give ourselves time to regain strength we can get back into the swing of things eventually........
