Shedd Aquarium closing major bit in the fall...

For those planning a trip to Chicago, if you want to see the Oceanarium part of the Shedd Aquarium come soon - it shuts down in Sept. for a major overhaul, and won't reopen until mid-2009. Far as I know, all the other exhibits will still be open - just not the bit with the dolphins, whales, penguins. just thought I'd pass this along.

My boys are excited about this renovation. This past year they spent about 1/2 hour at the aquarium giving their opinion on what they would like to do and see in the new child friendly penguin exhibit. If they do half of what the questioners said that they were thinking about, it is going to be really cool.
