DD is a high school senior.
DS is a freshman.
I've responded "two" to polls like this for 13 years - but soon I'll have to say, "only one." sniff.

I chose 2. I teach the boys formally, but I have 2 girls that I go through preschool stuff with as well. I didn't count them since it's not a whole lot.

2. Well sort of. 8 year old DS and 3 (almost 4) year old DD. Who 'tries' to 'do school' :) We have some more Montessori style stuff for her ;)

Starting this semester I only have the two. My oldest started going to the cc full time this semester. I miss him and my car MWF. But really I miss him helping with dd 12's algebra. So for now I teach dd 12 and ds 7.

I homeschooled my oldest through 10th grade. Last year was his first year in a traditional school enviroment and he is due to graduate this May.
I currently am teaching my two fifth graders at home, plus my 2 1/2 year old has just been begging to start 'doing school' too.

My oldest dd is 17 and has been homeschooled for the past 9 years.
My middle dd was homeschooled for grades 1-5 and is currently a 9th grader at our local public school.
My youngest dd is 5 and is currently in Kindergarden in our local public school.

I have two close in age here, only 20 months apart and in ps they would have been back to back grades. So while things are separate now, in another 2 years most subjects will be the same level :-) And then it will be so much easier (i hope!)

I started with one kidlet (a 3rd grader), added his first grade sister...then after two years of two, brought home another kid and started the younger, so one year had FOUR at home, then back to three, then two, then one...twice I ahve had NONE...now starting Tuesday I will have one again - just pulled the youngest outta fifth grade.
I have four boys 1st, 3rd, 5th, & 7th but my 3rd grader is in public school this year for a "life experience" that he wanted. He will be coming home again next year.

I think Ellie and Janie and Cat in Black - (am I missing anyone?) need special medals of honor. :)
BTW, has Cat in Black (Cathy in Blacksburg) registered here? I've been thinking about her, ever since she said she was sad about finishing homeschooling. I believe her youngest is doing all cc classes this year. I hope she can find her way over here.

I put 3, but that number changes. Because I am allowed to homeschool the children I do emergency care, there are times I homeschool up to 6 children. Today I had five. Three are my own children, so I know I will at least have them!

Because we're TIRED. LOL
I only have three, officially, though Leo is teaching himself to read. Eh...um, I mean, *I* am teaching him to read, with the fabulously extensive, thorough, wonderful program I've devised and researched and tested. Yeah. That's it. :D
So, I guess I'm really homeschooling 3 1/2.

I am currently homeschooling my two teen girls:
15yo in 10th grade
18yo in 12th grade
My son is 23yo and has just finished all the 'required' classes to graduate college after his semester spent in Japan learning Japanese. So, hopefully he can apply for college graduation and we'll get that done in May. BUT, I "did" homeschool him from 4th grade through 12th grade. I just didn't count him on this poll.
SO, that means THREE graduations for our family in May: my dd from high school, my son from college (BA degree) and my husband (MA). Wow. Will be a busy May.:)

Officially, I'm only homeschooling one. I have one 3-year old who thinks he needs to "do school" too though. I'm thinking I may have to come up with more for him next year even though I hadn't planned on doing anything formal with him until he was at least 5.

Why, because you're veterans, of course. The definitive definition. And you lived to tell the tale. And now I see there are even a few more that I wasn't aware of (like Happy, and a few others I can't remember right now).
