I bought this long time ago, and have been using it to log in the information per year...way ahead of HS to familiarize with the program.

Now that I have the first year of HS posted, I found out that the forms do not print right, does not show ALL the information logged in on Graded per Subjects reports. If I use the "compute" feature it will use the hours per subject on ALL subjects giving partial credit to subjects completed in their entirety in less time.

I have been spinning with this for a while. I contacted the company and they say is the setting of my printer, well, I use the preview printing and it does not show in there either. I have updated it and upgraded it...nothing make it work well.

Am I stucked? Am I going to have to make a handmade Transcript?
Do you know any other program for Transcripts only that I can use? I am not going to get another program and post all last year again to see if I get what I want.:(

Any ideas, suggestions? Thanks in advance.

am not familiar with how to use the features you're talking about.

Honestly, I used to really like Edu-Track, but have been frustrated with them for a couple of years now. They have not made any real significant updates for the program, in my opinion. I've e-mailed them several times asking them to update the program with a "weighted grade" option. For example, my oldest is using Apologia Chemistry. It would be nice to give her a weighted grade for the course, i.e. 65% of the total grade would be her test grades, and 35% would be her lab reports (as suggested by Dr. Wile), or perhaps 60%tests, 25% labs, and 10% assignments.

Honestly, if I wasn't so far into the program, I'd switch to Homeschool Tracker. I may still; I have looked into that option.

I wish I could offer you better advice and more specific answers to your dilemma with getting certain features of the program to work. I hope someone on these boards can offer better suggestions. As for me, though, I'll either continue to muddle through or switch to HS Tracker.

Sorry I couldn't be more help!

mark the unit credits that you wanted each course to have or did you leave them at the default numbers. Another words for Geometry did you change the course selection to reflect it is worth one credit or did you leave it along. If you did the default setting for these is 0.5 credits and you would need to change them. That might be why it's not computing properly. Just go into the course set up board, pull up the course and on the right is the number of credits you want each course to have. You also might try the other transcript selection. I can't remember it's name but it shows the courses taken and grades per year rather than all at once.
