Is 3rd or 4th grade too young for this? It is supposed to be for remedial help for 7th grade on up. Would it help someone younger?

3rd grade is too young, my daughter who is in fourth can do it, but I'm not sure if she always understands it. I don't have her do it too often though. It really is for higher grades.
