I didn't realize that Gerard Butler was the Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera! Man he was soooo good as the Phantom.

I rented P.S. I Love You simply because he was in it. I was hoping for a romantic comedy. Ahem. No spoilers for anyone else, but I didn't find anything funny. I still enjoyed it through the tears, but I would have enjoyed it more if I had been emotionally prepared. :)
Have you seen Dear Frankie (http://www.amazon.com/Dear-Frankie-Emily-Mortimer/dp/B00094AS9A/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1218144543&sr=8-1)? Gerard Butler is *to die for* in that movie. Well, in my humble opinion, of course. :)

He is quite a hunk in Timeline, too.

I liked him in "Reign of Fire" when I wasn't watching Christian Bale.

P.S. I Love You! is very heave, but also funny. both with the book and the movie, I was either crying from laughing or the gut-wrenching emotional stuff. Great movie.
Love Butler as the Phantom. Not sure I would've picked Raoul.
