Learning to Program with Alice by Randy Pausch, et al.

I heard about this computer programming course when I watched The Last Lecture. I was at the library book sale today ($1/box day) and they had a copy of the Beta version of the book, including the CD (still sealed), so I snagged it.

Has anyone tried this program? What did you think about it?
