TWTM vs. TWEM

Has anyone gone through TWTM rhetoric stage themselves instead of using The Well-Educated Mind?

I feel I could really use the logic, grammar, and writing instruction!

I once considered it, but ended up buying WEM for high school and am going to follow WTMindy's eg and read through the lists. My goal during this internet session is to order the first 2 books (the editions she SWB recommends) from our interlibrary loan system if I can, or else try the Virtual Library. Gotta love those!
