I did the first 3 or 4 of the Green Hour Challenge's then I got side tracked. I would like to offer it as a fall co-op class for 5yo and up. Since I didn't get very far, I would love other people's thoughts and suggestions on how I could accomplish this. Is there a way to do it without having to do stuff outside of the class?
TIA

I've been wanting to start the Green Hour Challenges as well. Just haven't made myself do it yet. I bet the accountability of meeting a group would be just what I needed to make it happen! Thanks for the great idea!!!

Is there a link? Sounds interesting but I'm not sure I know what you're referring to.
Thanks!

Well you could bring in specimens, work on identifying items, have children bring in items...read from the Handbook of Nature Study on the topic, use other library books on the topic as well and then send the children home to complete the challenge. Encourage nature journaling, have them bring theirs in to share if they want. You could also introduce nature inspired poetry.
